So this week’s offering is by a man who was not only a writer but a biographer, historian and diplomat; Born April 3rd 1783 in New York, He was among the first American writers to earn massive acclaim in Europe. He was America’s first internationally bestselling author. He died on November 28, 1859 at 76. Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you Washington Irving:
