Writer’s Quote Wednesday, 8/26/2015.

Standard

A slight break from the old guys, to remind us all of why we’re here. This reminder comes from a guy born in Ireland in 1898. A close friend of J.R.R. Tolkien, he managed to write several masterworks of his own before he died in 1963, on the same day John F Kennedy was assassinated; a sort of double blow to the world itself. (At least in my opinion.)

“Failures, repeated failures, are finger posts on the road of achievement. One fails forward toward success.” – C.S. Lewis.

I’m sure some of you guessed ahead of time, feel free to tell me what tipped you off; as always, this is for:
