Alright, this one is another late Roman philosopher. Born in 480 A.D. he was descended from a long line of Roman aristocracy and a few emperors. He became a senator and consul at age 25. He also wrote a book that is still pretty famous today, and was a best seller of a sort in the middle ages. He died in 525 A.D.
